Full-time Electronics Design Engineer
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and development of custom power supplies and electronic control products, including analog, power, digital, and microprocessor-based designs. This role involves collaborating with the engineering team on design reviews, contributing new ideas, and performing hands-on testing and validation in the lab.
Our customers serve the Medical, Aerospace, industrial and consumer markets. Projects include electronic medical devices, sensing and measurement devices, machine control systems, LED and laser drivers. We also design and manufacture commercial, industrial, and medical custom power supplies under our Bear Power Supplies brand.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in electrical hardware design; individual experience will be considered
- Foundational understanding of analog and digital circuit design principals
- Effective problem-solving and root cause analysis skills at the component level
- Familiarity with bench-level test equipment
- Familiarity with embedded software development in C/C++ is preferred; experience with 8-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers, as well as Git and Python, is also preferred, but not required
- Ability to develop test procedures and perform design verification testing independently
- Experience with EMI design and testing is preferred (in-house test chamber available)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced but team-supported environment
- U.S. citizenship (due to government-related work)

Assembler
Job Description
We are looking for an individual who is motivated to learn and capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced electronics environment and is able to multi-task and prioritize time and work.
Job Responsibilities
- Insert by hand components into the correct circuit designation on printed circuit boards
- Solder wires into printed circuit boards
- Assemble and test wiring harness systems
- Utilize hand soldering irons and tools to repair, rework and build parts
- Meet all standard production rates
- Other related duties as required in manufacturing department
Qualifications
- Good eyesight, good work habits, mechanical aptitude, basic computer knowledge
- Education: High School Graduate or GED
- US citizenship
