Part 1
At Z-AXIS, electronic circuit design is a three-part process. Although customers sometimes send us a detailed document with specifications, the process usually begins with an idea and a few constraints regarding size and performance. No matter what, our engineering and sales teams will talk with you to make sure we understand what you’re trying to achieve.
During this part of the process, we start with your idea and define the concept, demonstrate feasibility, create the circuit design or schematic, and complete an electrical design review.
Part 2
During this part of the process, the board designers take over to do the physical layout. They start with a schematic and the board outline. Sometimes the outline is specified by the customer, and sometimes they ask Z-AXIS to find it to fin in their product.

This is the third video in our series. It talks about the mechanical design process and how it dovetails with the electrical design.
