November 16, 2014 – The Daily Messenger wrote: “Last month, Z-Axis Electronics Design and Manufacturing marked its 25th anniversary, and judging from its past and projected success, the company has much to celebrate. Founded in 1989, Z-AXIS started out by manufacturing cathode ray tube monitors. When the LCD television and computer screen boom came along in the 1990s, shrinking the industry for CRT screens, the Phelps-based company branched out into two new forms of business and never looked back.”
